Janka, founder of Working Parenthood
About

Hi, I'm Janka.

I'm a strategy consultant, educator and mother of two young children.

I've spent much of my professional life working with frameworks, models and structured approaches to complicated business decisions.

And then I discovered just how complicated managing two careers and two small children could be.

Working Parenthood grew from two experiences: teaching high school students how to think like consultants, and navigating the realities of raising a family while continuing to pursue my own professional ambitions.

I realised that the tools we use to understand business problems and make strategic decisions could be incredibly useful in our personal lives, too.

But there was another reason I wanted to create this platform.

I know how difficult it can be to feel judged for the decisions you make as a parent, particularly when you're already doing everything you can to keep things together.

I wanted to give working parents something practical that could also build confidence.

The confidence to understand their circumstances, explore their options and stand behind the decisions they make for themselves and their families.

That's what Working Parenthood is here for.

Practical frameworks, useful tools and a little more confidence in navigating life on your own terms.
